The show that is known for launching undiscovered talent seems to be fading with time. The no.1 show, American Idol is losing its power to magnetize viewers.
American Idol season 9 appears to be confusing and full of mishmash, as the ever-increasing controversies, replacements of judges and several other conflicts are breaking down the show.
Talking about the contestants, they are not as fine as the contestants of the previous seasons were.
Two years back, American Idol was a hard nut to crack but departure of Paula Abdul left viewers in twinge. Paula was the heartbeat of the show. She was appreciated for her sympathy and compassion for the contestants. Her sweet comments worked as medicine against the harsh comments of Simon Cowell. The decision to bring Ellen DeGeneres as judge failed to bound viewers to the show. It won’t be wrong to say that she has not been lucky for the show.

He will not be a part of next American Idol season as he’s busy in launching American version of X factor, which is scheduled to premiere on Fox in 2011.
Apart from all these bits and pieces, some people still have high hopes from American Idol. But, I think its time to wait and watch if there is anything that can torch up the light of American Idol episodes again.
