After the huge success of the previous season, the greatest show in the history of American television was back with yet another season. The season premiered on January 15, 2008. They started the show with telecasting various auditions that took place at different places all over America. Thousands of people tried to impress judges with their singing talent, during the auditions that started from Philadelphia to Dallas moving on to Omaha, San Diego and ending at Atlanta, which was the last stop for the auditions. Contestants from all over America auditioned and some with very good talent were accepted and others who came for fun were rejected.
This season changes are made in the show. The contestants this season are allowed to play their own musical instruments and a lot of attention is paid to their families and backgrounds, which was missing in the last season.[read more...]
